Phil Wood first entered the family real estate business by obtaining his license and working several summers while in college. He joined the company on a full-time basis after graduating from Emory University in 1977 with a B.A. degree, focused in marketing and finance. He initially worked as a sales associate but quickly saw ways to improve the company’s image and branding and enhance its marketing programs. He then worked several part-time staff positions, including marketing and management, while still selling. Phil became president of the firm in 1986.

 Phil has led the firm using an emphasis on customer service, and agent services that focus on marketing and technology. His vision is to build a strong regional Southwest Florida firm by continuing to recruit selectively, provide agents with the finest sales tools and staff support, and open offices in high profile locations as new growth areas emerge.

Phil was president of the Naples Area Board of Realtors in 1986, Realtor of the Year in 1991, and continues to be involved in various committees, and holds the CRB and GRI designations. He is also very active in the community, as a Director for SunTrust, the Naples Chamber, Junior Achievement, the Salvation Army, and participates in numerous other charity events.
