Dottie joined John R. Wood Realtors in 1993 as Executive Vice President and manager of the Central sales office. At that time the company had one sales office comprised of 32 residential and 8 commercial associates. Other divisions included residential rental and commercial property management, and sales volume was $122,000,000. During the ensuing 11 years, the company has grown to five residential offices (with another scheduled to open within the next 120 days), 244 sales associate entities and projected sales for 2005 of $2.5 billion.

In addition to overseeing the sales operations of the firm, Dottie serves on the Executive Committee along with Phil and John Wood, and is involved in strategic planning, budgeting, resource allocation and overall operations of the company. Dottie holds the CCIM and CRB designations and is a former president of the Jacksonville, FL Board of Realtors.
